Small Group Leader’s Guide – “Blessed: Be a Peacekeeper”
(60-Minute Discussion)
Opening (5 min)
Welcome everyone.
Briefly introduce the theme: being a true peacemaker—holding to truth and convictions with compassion.
Icebreaker (5 min)
Share a quick story: When did you see someone (at work, home, or church) bring peace in a tense moment?
Read Scripture Together (10 min)
Matthew 5:9 (NIV): “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Ephesians 4:15 (NIV): “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”
James 1:19-20 (NIV): “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”
