There are times in our lives when we feel like things can't get any worse - in these low points, it's important to remember that your life always has purpose - the God of the universe always has a plan for you.

"Rebuilding a Life that Matters" offers a starting point for you to being constructing a solid foundation for your life through Jesus. This book focuses on examples from Nehemiah but also incorporates personal anecdotes and humor as John Mark addresses some of the most significant challenges in the world today.

Rebuilding A Life

That Matters

  • This book is an attempt to help us, as the people of God, in a much-needed rebuilding effort.

This book is an attempt to help us, as the people of God, in a much-needed rebuilding effort. My hope is that this book will inspire us to rise from the rubble of our broken lives, shattered dreams, evident failures, and fragmented country. My prayer is that the Lord would use this book to help each of us to rebuild a life that really matters, one that overcomes the difficulties we will inevitably face in this life and makes a lasting impact for the kingdom of God.

  • ... we are going to be different from the world ...

Scripture promises that if we are Christ followers, we are going to be different from the world, out of place within it to some extent. For instance, Jesus says in John 15:19 “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” Paul teaches in Romans 12:2 that we should “not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Becoming a Christian means that we no longer have a place in the world in the way we once did.
